Services
Here is a quick rundown of the services I provide:
- I service Macs and PCs that are no longer under manufacturer warranty. This includes hard drive replacements, RAM upgrades, new system setups, new device drivers and software installations, among other things. If your computer is under warranty, I still may be able to assist with upgrades.
- I can help tutor you with software and general computer skills.
- I can provide assistance with internet connections and local networks including wireless
- Virus infections of a moderate to severe nature may require lengthy, repetitive scans, and I may ask to bring the computer to my home office for an overnighter.
- I can do email, twittering, cable boxes, remote controls, most common telephone systems, install most printers, and set the clock on your kitchen range, just ask
- I can operate your small business server, and assist with most common tasks and maintenance.
- I can give you an honest, independent recommendation for a computer or other device and recommend a vendor that I trust and/or know first hand. Email your question and I will begin searching for a specific model for you if you like (free after one service call).
- I may be able to help with your cell phone, iPad or other handheld computing device as well as televisions, cable boxes and media devices. Just let me know what you need and I will do my best to assist you.
- Web presence: I can get your business online and get you started if the internet is a new marketing venture or personal endeavor. I have plenty of contacts who and resources for increasing your influence through the internet.
Things I can't do:
- Over the phone support: Questions and requests are okay of course but I must ask that we limit conversations to 10 minutes.
- Warranty service: If your device is new and under warranty, it would be better for you to call or email your device's manufacturer or vendor for service.
- I do not usually sell or carry computers or parts. I may from time to time be willing to sell personal equipment at very fair rates.
